Capitol Reef June 2023
Ian and I met on a backpacking trip in Capitol Reef, a national park in Southern Utah. I had a friend from high school who invited me on the trip. That friend had met Ian at institute and had decided he passed the cool vibes test and invited him. We hit it off talking the whole trip. Ian got everyone’s numbers after the trip, and I reached out to thank him for sharing his sourdough bread on the trip. We have texted paragraphs almost everyday since!
PS Ian bought teva’s specifically for this trip. He is not a sandals guy… it is rare to see him not wearing socks.
