Trail runs and hikes are some of our favorite adventures. Mount Timp was one of those adventures which we have done twice. The first time we hiked it was more than your usual hike. We left later in the day as we thought we could do the whole hike in about 5 hours. Lets just say I am a cocky hiker. Timp took us a good 10 hours that day. And on the way down it was dark and stormy. We only had phone flash lights to get back. To make it more of an adventure Ian’s phone died on the way down so we were relying on one device for light and directions while it rained and we could see lightning in the distance. Ian doesn’t trust me with guesstimating the timing and difficulty of hikes. We also always over prepare now. It was quite the adventure!
